Our Commitment

In a world marked by overproduction and overconsumption, we slow down to weave conscious choices into every aspect of our process — from our considered collections to our partners for impact. Piece by piece and person by person, we aspire to build a brand that uplifts both people and planet — and above all, nurtures our little girls to love and live in the same way.

Our Materials

European Flax™ Linen

Breathable, hypoallergenic, and moisture-wicking, there’s much to love about European Flax™ Linen. Allowing for traceability throughout the value chain, it’s a Zero Waste fiber that requires no irrigation, low pesticides, and helps reduce carbon emissions. European Flax™ standards ensure fair pay and ethical working conditions as set by the International Labour Organization.

TENCEL™

TENCEL™ is an environment-friendly, semi-synthetic material made by Lenzing from responsibly sourced wood pulp in a highly efficient closed-loop system. This creates a comfortable, breathable fabric that is resistant to bacteria and safe for sensitive skin. When blended with natural fibres and non-toxic colourants, TENCEL™ is also biodegradable and compostable.

GOTS™

A Global Organic Textile Standard label guarantees your product has been made from a minimum of 70% organic fibres, according to a set of environmentally and socially responsible standards. Certified products tick off requirements such as chemical-free and GMO-free farming, fair treatment of workers, and product traceability. Organic farming also uses considerably less water and emits less carbon dioxide.

OCS

A globally recognized standard that verifies the presence and amount of organic material in a product, Organic Content Standard offers transparency and traceability of organic raw materials throughout the supply chain from farm to finished goods.

OEKO-TEX® Eco Passport

A frequently overlooked detail, colourants used on garments can cause disruption to human and environmental health. OEKO-TEX® Eco Passport is a globally recognised certification system that ensures safety in chemicals, colourants and accesssories used on textiles, lowering environmental impact while guaranteeing product safety.

Find it in: inks and dyes on our fabrics.

Low-Impact Soy-Based Inks

Soy-based ink is sustainably produced. It is naturally biodegradable and compostable, minimising air pollution and health hazards for both workers and consumers. This ink produces consistently vibrant colours that degrade four times faster than the standard petroleum-based ink, making it easier to remove during the recycling process, thereby reducing waste.

OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100

OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 tests textiles and materials for harmful substances. Passing this test provides a guarantee of product safety, especially for children and sensitive skin.

Find it in: our trims.

FSC®

A Forest Stewardship Council® certification is a green stamp of approval for paper products, including our packaging. The wood used to make them comes from responsibly managed forests, where trees are replanted, wildlife habitats are protected, and local communities benefit.
